Un spectacle solo, clownesque, en trois parties. Trois fois le même point de départ : un homme se prépare à prendre son petit déjeuner.
Dans le monde de Harry Stork, il n’y a pas grande chose, que ce soit sur scène ou pour le petit-déjeuner. Non, en effet, juste un œuf.
Cette comédie absurde pour personnage excentrique, une table de petit déjeuner et plusieurs œufs, est le quatrième spectacle d’Alan Fairbairn mettant en scène Harry Stork.
Harry veut manger cet œuf. Rien de plus simple. Il a même préparé une chanson pour l’occasion. Il attend. Mais il semble que la livraison soit retardée. Le room-service serait-il en grève ?
Peut-être que la situation n’est-elle pas aussi simple. Peut-être que Harry n’est pas maître de sa destinée. Il semble que des forces mystérieuses jouent avec lui, l’empêchant même de satisfaire ses désirs les plus basiques.
Il est rapidement entraîné dans un dédale de confusion et d’incompréhension, jusqu’à atteindre l’état de grâce.
Il y a donc trois parties : la première, l’Attente; la deuxième, l’Indécision, et la troisième, les Conséquences de Choix. Et après, un épilogue, ou tout est expliqué. Ou pas.

A solo clown performance, in three parts.
Three times the same starting point: a man is waiting for his breakfast.
In the World of Harry Stork, there isn’t much on stage – just a table and a stool. There isn’t much for breakfast either – just an egg.
This absurd comedy for one eccentric character, a table and several eggs, is the fourth solo show to feature Alan Fairbairn’s creation Harry Stork.
Harry wants to eat that egg. Nothing simpler than that. He even has a song prepared for the event. Then he can get on with the rest of his life. But he seems to be stuck in this breakfast-world and the eggs are taking over.
They tease and frustrate Harry, appearing and disappearing, multiplying or changing size. Harry’s attempts to eat his breakfast lead him down a tortuous path through bewilderment and indecision towards some kind redemption.
There are three parts : the first, Waiting; the second, Indecision; and the third, the Consequences of Choice. And then an epilogue, where all will be made clear. Or not.
