Un spectacle solo, clownesque, en trois parties. Un homme se prépare à prendre son petit déjeuner.
Harry Stork est un spectacle étonnant et drôle,
qui flirte avec l’absurde sans oublier les
dilemmes et les réalités de la vie quotidienne. Le
sourcil expressif, le regard mordant et la bouche
malicieuse….. un clown singulier, pitoyable mais
lucide, qui mêle à des situations absurdes des
numéros visuels de belle facture. (L’Express)
Une comédie absurde et excentrique, une table
de petit déjeuner et… des œufs..
Dans son univers, pas grande chose ! Non,
Harry veut juste manger un œuf, Une habitude
journalière. Rien de plus simple. Il attend. Mais il
semblerait qu’il y ait un fantôme dans la machine,
un grain de sable bloquant inexorablement « la
livraison » . Le room-service en grève ? Harry
n’est pas maître de sa destinée. Des forces
mystérieuses jouent avec lui, l’empêchant même
de satisfaire ses désirs les plus basiques. Un
dédale de confusion et d’incompréhension,
jusqu’à atteindre l’état de grâce. Peut-être. Et une
histoire de renaissance !

A solo clown performance, in three parts.
Three times the same starting point: a man is waiting for his breakfast.
In the World of Harry Stork, there isn’t much on stage – just a table and a stool. There isn’t much for breakfast either – just an egg.
This absurd comedy for one eccentric character, a table and several eggs, is the fourth solo show to feature Alan Fairbairn’s creation Harry Stork.
Harry wants to eat that egg. Nothing simpler than that. He even has a song prepared for the event. Then he can get on with the rest of his life. But he seems to be stuck in this breakfast-world and the eggs are taking over.
They tease and frustrate Harry, appearing and disappearing, multiplying or changing size. Harry’s attempts to eat his breakfast lead him down a tortuous path through bewilderment and indecision towards some kind redemption.
There are three parts : the first, Waiting; the second, Indecision; and the third, the Consequences of Choice. And then an epilogue, where all will be made clear. Or not.
